Starting with the first day, a partridge in a pear tree could be replaced with a cozy armchair next to a potted pear tree. On the second day, two turtle doves could be replaced with a pair of decorative dove figurines. Find both of these at the Ooltewah Nursery & Landscape Co.
For the third day, three French hens could be replaced with a trio of French-inspired kitchen towels. Moving on to the fourth day, four calling birds could be replaced with four festive bird ornaments. On the fifth day, five golden rings could be replaced with five golden candle holders. For the sixth day, six geese a-laying could be replaced with six plush goose pillows. Look for these at one of our favorite local shops in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, Blue Skies.
These last few are a little more unique, the seventh day could see seven swans a-swimming replaced with seven swan-shaped soap dispensers. On the eighth day, eight maids a-milking could be replaced with eight cow-shaped milk jugs. Moving on to the ninth day, nine ladies dancing could be replaced with nine whimsical ballerina figurines. For the tenth day, ten lords a-leaping could be replaced with ten playful frog figurines. On the eleventh day, eleven pipers piping could be replaced with eleven musical instrument ornaments. Finally, on the twelfth day, twelve drummers drumming could be replaced with twelve drum-shaped candy dishes. If you haven’t been to Vinterest in Hixson, TN? There is also one downtown.
